William Medcalf
With over 30 years of hands-on experience and competitive victories across 17 countries and 3 continents, William Medcalf is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities on vintage Bentleys. His journey began at just five years old, when he embarked on a 28,000-mile adventure across North America in his family’s Bentley—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for motoring heritage.
Trained from a young age by his toolmaker father, William gained deep knowledge of traditional engineering methods, later working on family-owned Bentleys including a 3 4½-litre and a Speed Six. In 1995, he founded what has become the world’s leading specialist workshop for vintage Bentleys, setting a benchmark in craftsmanship and authenticity. He’s personally sourced, restored, and sold some of the marque’s most historic cars—including the iconic Barnato Hassan and the first Bentley to race at Le Mans.
An accomplished competitor, William has participated in hundreds of races and rallies worldwide. His achievements include four outright wins in the grueling Flying Scotsman Rally—each with a different SuperSport Bentley and navigator—plus historic feats like completing the 10,000-mile Peking to Paris rally twice, and winning back-to-back races at Castle Combe powered entirely by synthetic fuel. A mainstay at Goodwood events, Le Mans Classic, and other prestigious gatherings, William is not just a restorer but a driver who pushes these machines to their limits.
Today, William continues to advance the legacy of pre-war Bentleys, advocating for sustainability through synthetic fuels and inspiring a new generation of enthusiasts. His belief is simple yet powerful: “These cars were built to be driven and rallied – long may it continue, in a sustainable way.”

Peter Brock
Peter Brock’s name is etched into automotive history. As a young designer at GM, he helped shape the 1959 Corvette Sting Ray Racer, which inspired the iconic 1963 “split-window” Corvette. Soon after, he transformed Carroll Shelby’s Cobra into the aerodynamic Daytona Coupe—the first American car to win the FIA GT World Championship in 1965.
In the late ’60s, Brock launched Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE), where his Datsun 240Zs and 510s dominated SCCA Championships and redefined affordable performance. Beyond cars, he pioneered ultralight aviation in the ’70s, with his glider team winning multiple world titles and introducing groundbreaking foot-launched sailplanes.
Brock has since built a career as a photojournalist, author, and product innovator. His award-winning books reveal untold stories of Corvette and Shelby history, while his Aerovault trailer sets a new standard for lightweight, aerodynamic car transport.
Never one to stop exploring, Brock’s legacy is proof of the power of curiosity, reinvention, and bold design.
